Knitting Goddesses Guild Meeting

Well, last night was another great evening spent with the Knitting Goddesses at our guild meeting. It is always so much fun to spend an evening knitting and chatting with your knitting friends! Last night was the big unveiling of our sweater challenge projects. Everyone did amazing knitting. What a creative group of knitters! Here is a look at my challenge sweater. The February Lady Sweater, almost finished.

I want to say a big thank you to Rebecca for putting together a great lesson on how to knit a garter stitch heel for a sock. It is always interesting to learn a new technique.

This month's dishcloth is the ballband pattern. This is a really fun one to knit. I love the look of this slip stitch pattern. Here is the beginning of mine.

Planning is underway for Worldwide Knit in Public Day on Saturday, June 13. We will gather outside of Carrie's Quilting and Knitting Shop in downtown Aylmer at 10:00. I will let everyone know all the activities for the day as it gets closer. It is going to be a fun day!

Happy knitting everyone!
