A Successful Knit In Public Day

We had such a fun day for our 3rd annual Knit in Public Day held at Carrie's Quilting and Knitting Store in Aylmer. Despite the weather forecast for rain, we had a very hot and sunny day.

We had a great turn out of knitters who enjoyed a day of knitting. One lady joined us who did not know how to knit. We soon changed that! By the time she left she had the basics down pat and had won the yarn that was one of the give aways!

One of our knitting guild members is also a spinner. She brought her wheel with her for the day. Between the knitting and the spinning we attracted a lot of attention from the people passing by.

It was a great day!

Looks like you had good weather for it and everyone looks like they're having fun.
