One More Project

What is one more project on the needles?

This is Wendy Bernard's Not a Poncho City Cape from her book custom knits. I am loving this pattern! It is knit from the top down and is a fairly simple pattern. I am knitting it out of Paton's SWS (2 strands held together) and the colour is natural crimson.

Spring should be around the corner and I am planning on wearing this when it arrives!

I am a big fan of ponchos. They are so warm and so cute. The color you've picked out is going to be so pretty.

Better knit quickly; the ground hog predicted an early spring :)

Nice poncho! I've only used SWS to knit a bag that I felted, but it turned out very pretty. SWS comes in such nice colors. Looking forward to seeing your finished poncho.

Hello from Southeast Texas, home of hurricanes. I love all needle work projects, but it is such a problem. I want to do them all in the same day, impossible. I happened upon you blog and love it. We have a quilt guild and a great yarn/knit classes shop here in Beaumont, but I don't think we have a knitting guild-that sounds like fun. I can knit 1 and purl 2 but that's about it--I want to learn more. Thank for showing your pretties and their progress. God Bless. LOL Ann Polk
