Birthday Books

What a fun weekend it has been so far! I had a great birthday yesterday and the fun is continuing today.

I have learned my lesson about asking for yarn for my birthday. Everyone looks at me like I am crazy and replies "NO, you have too much already!"

So, I decided to change tactics. I asked for books.

Happy birthday!

I love books. I'm not a big fan of asking for yarn from non-knitters. They don't quite get it.

That's clever, asking for books. I stopped asking for yarn because I don't usually get the yarn I wanted. Hope your birthday was great!

Haha, good idea! I had a spinning magazine at work the other day and a coworker was joking and said, "No knitting at work!" and I replied, "I'm not knitting ... I'm reading about it."
