The Magic of Blocking

The shawl is finally finished!

Here it is right after casting off...


having a soak....


and blocking...


I am very happy with how this shawl turned out and can't wait to wear it!


Pattern - Mayflower Shawl by Wildflower Wool
Yarn - Briggs and Little Durasport
Needle - 3.5mm
Finished size after blocking 49" x 22"

Very happy? I would be running around my neighborhood shouting for all to come and see my shawl if I had made that. Even though everyone would think I was a nut case I would not be able to restrain myself. BEAUTIFUL!
