Yarn Giveaway!

Happy long weekend knitters!

This is the unofficial start of summer here in Ontario. It's usually the first weekend for camping and gardening begins.  I spent yesterday with my Mom at the garden center buying flowers and these huge pots to make a new container garden.  Flower shopping for me is like yarn shopping; I want it all.  I really have to keep reminding myself I have a small garden.  I think I did ok; only 2 trays of plants. Now to plant!

In my last post I showed you this lovely yarn but I don't think I mentioned we (the Fibre Friends Podcast) are giving it away!

It is Sugar Shack by Sweet Georgia yarns and to enter just subscribe to the podcast and leave us a comment on YouTube under episode 4 and tell us what you would knit with this yarn.  I think it would make a fun hat.

Happy knitting!

Episode 4!!

https://youtu.be/KJHu52B8KCc

The Fibre Friends were together again and we filmed our fourth episode - more knitting fun and craziness as always!

Did you know we are hosting a Miso shawl KAL?  It runs until July 1 so there is still plenty of time to join us on Ravelry (fibre friends podcast), knit a fun, simple lace pattern with Caroline,  Adrienne  and I, and be entered for prizes!!

I'm knitting my Miso with a one of a kind yarn from Old Oak Yarns called Grass Roots.  This is my just before bed knitting. I work a handful of rows every night and slowly but surely it's getting bigger.  It's the perfect project to finish my day with.
