Transitions to Spring Kit

The Fibre Friends have been at it again.  The 2018 Spring kit is here!

Caroline and Adrienne have outdone themselves again.  This large project bag is one of my favourites - it has flowers on it :)  and Adrienne's yarn is absolutely beautiful.  The colours go so well together and fits our theme of Transitions to Spring perfectly.  She has even named these colour ways Muck and Thaw.

When I sat down to design these fingerless mitts I was thinking about those early, spring days when gardeners just can't wait to get out into their gardens.  It's on these chilly days that fingerless mitts are the perfect accessory to pull back the mulch and look for the first signs of spring poking up through the ground.

Thanks Mom, you make a great hand model :)

My Dad on the other hand thinks they would make great fishing mitts!  What would you wear them for?

I think they're perfect for too-early gardening! Maybe shoveling the snow off the garden beds to help them warm up faster.
No, I'm not anxious for spring...LOL! Great design, great bag and as always, great yarn!
